Nov2020PAD - day 8 - persona poem

 Warrior and Princess


You might have heard of my story.
A warrior in all my glory.
We want to marry together.
War came and caused us bad weather.
Took me away from my loved one.
which then caused her poor heart to run.
So I built of her a statue.
Standing guard shows that my loves true.



This persona poem from day 8 is called "Warrior and Princess", which is based upon the Aztec legendary story of a warrior Popocatepetl  and Princess Iztaccíhuatl
